Pioneering mobility on the water
Shiptec is the leading engineering company in Switzerland and the surrounding area focused on promoting environmentally friendly mobility on water. Our goal is to reduce the ecological footprint and gradually realise fleets with zero emissions.
Among other things, we are developing systems for autonomous driving. In addition to the obvious benefits such as cost savings through personnel reduction and increased safety and reliability, autonomous driving offers the opportunity to further reduce energy consumption in inland navigation.

Shiptec is responsible for the maximum availability of more than 40 passenger vessels on various waters in Switzerland and other European regions.
The same applies to public authority vessels (e.g. police, fire brigade and sea rescue), where permanent operational capability is required. Shiptec also ensures the maintenance planning of several cargo vessels.
