Innovations for the shipping industry at SMM Hamburg 2024
 

Shiptec AG will once again have its own stand at SMM Hamburg 2024, the world's leading trade fair for the maritime industry. Visit us from 3 to 6 September in hall B2.EG at stand no. 407. In addition to shipbuilding and engineering, this year we are focusing in particular on digitalisation, cost savings, hybrid systems, hydrogen and fuel cells. A particular focus will be on EcoLog, a modular tool for digitalisation and remote monitoring that can be implemented quickly and easily - without the need to involve your own IT department. EcoLog can be flexibly adapted to individual requirements and forms the basis for optimising your operations. EcoLive, a system that transmits real-time data from the ships directly to the cloud, helps to quickly analyse faults and increases operational reliability. Both solutions are designed for seamless integration into a wide range of ship types, from historic paddle steamers to modern newbuilds.
 

Another highlight of the trade fair is the world première of EcoPilot, a driver assistance system specially developed for course vessels. EcoPilot uses artificial intelligence to combine decisive factors in schedule operation and present them to the skipper in an intuitive and simple display. Initial implementations show fuel savings of at least 13%.
