Shiptec AG installed new engines for the MS Panta Rhei for the Lake Zürich Navigation Company (Zürichsee-Schifffahrtsgesellschaft AG).
Starting point
The MS Panta Rhei, the flagship of the ZSG, needed new diesel engines after around 10 years of service. The call for tenders for the new engines was international and Shiptec was awarded the contract.
Goals
We carried out the engineering, project management and actual modification for the ZSG. The project started with the planning phase in September 2018 and was completed with the trial run in April 2019.
Challenges
The real challenge was the tight timeline and the coordination of the various trades. Thanks to our extensive experience, the project was completed on schedule.
