Underwater archaeology task boat
Procurement
Starting point
Underwater archaeology is part of the archaeology and monument preservation department of the Office for Urban Development Zurich. This office sees itself as a service company for the city of Zurich, the canton of Zurich and the surrounding cantons, for which it fulfils the statutory mandate for the archiving, exploration, documentation, excavation and protection of underwater cultural assets.
The underwater archaeology task boats were getting long in the tooth and the old Meier SM58 motor vessel, built in 1986, was replaced by the new acquisition.

- Platform for measuring devices for the remote sensing of archaeological sites
- Escort boat for prospecting dives
